• High Speed Image Processing The IMPACT™ Intelligent Camera Systems have all the capabilities of a high performance vision system within a compact and rugged module. Designed for real-time industrial applications, the IMPACT™ is a sealed device containing all the essential electronic components of machine vision in a single package. This includes a high-speed microprocessor, solid-state memory, optically isolated I/O, serial interface, and real time operating system inside, plus digital imaging and ethernet connectivity. The IMPACT™ Intelligent Camera System contains a comprehensive visual programming toolkit called Inspection Builder™. Inspection Builder™ software contains image processing tools to deliver complete custom application programs within an easy to use interface. Image processing programs are configured by selecting tools from a broad range of inspection algorithms, including high accuracy measurement, defect detection, part location, package inspection, character reading, and data matrix code reading. For fine-tuning, parameters can be manipulated within the inspection program. For complex applications, advanced programming concepts such as multi-tasking, subroutine management, and recipe control can be achieved. Image acquisition and processing are done on the IMPACT™ Intelligent Cameras. Control of Inspection Builder™ software is done via a PC. One copy of Inspection Builder™ software is require per PC. Multiple cameras can be controlled per PC. A complete HMI visual developers toolkit is included with Inspection Builder™ software. Users can create complete turnkey solutions including a real-time operator interface, custom designed for plant floor operators and engineers. This provides image display and defect alerts, plus real-time image processing results and fast part change-over. With the performance of a full-scale vision system contained within a compact industrial package, IMPACT™ Intelligent Camera Systems are a cost effective, scalable vision system for a broad range of inspection solutions. The IMPACT™ system is available in two different versions. First is the IMPACT™ C20, which consists of a high-speed central processing unit that can be connected to a range of camera head resolutions options. Resolutions ranging from 640 x 480 at 60 fps to 1600 x 1200 at 12fps are currently available for the C20. Additionally there is a wide range of digital I/O, serial, and strobe control that can be done from the central processing unit making the C20 one of the most powerful Intelligent Camera on the market today. Designed to be a compact, completely contained Intelligent Camera, the IMPACT™ T10 offers the entire image processing capabilities of the C20 in a streamline cost effective design. Currently available with 640 x 480 resolution, a wide range of machine vision applications can be successfully undertaken. The T10 also offers a DB15 connection for I/O control. Communication with the C20 and the T10 is done via a 10/100 Mbps Base-T Ethernet connection over which programming can be controlled via a host computer. Inspection Builder™ software, power supplies, camera heads, and I/O cables are sold separately. Additionally, OCR (optical character recognition), and 2D Data Matrix software packages are sold separately. Notes: One power supply #57-860 is required per system. One cable #57-861 required per C20 camera head. One copy of the Inspection Builder™ Software is required per PC connection. For the IMPACT™ OCV/OCR and Data Matrix Coder Reader Software, one license per IMPACT™ device must be purchased.
