Different activities necessary in an electoral process can be automated.

  • The vote. The ballot used for voting may contain the list of candidates to be elected. Each voter will mark one or more according to the rules.
  • Proceedings elections. The results obtained by person, party, etc.. in each polling station will be reflected in a ballot-readable, signed and sealed by the presiding officer will be read centrally.

The Wholesale Business Association Central Fruit Market in Madrid elected its board of directors on Thursday October 10 .

The whole process was public , in front of voters : Voting in the polls opening, reading of votes immediately and fully automatic with a team Lectodara 9000 and publication of the results in a few minutes.

Mercamadrid

The fruit and vegetables with over 124,400 meters square , more than 1,600 tons of fruits and vegetables sold each year by more than 1.682 million euros, serving more than 6 million consumers. Founded in 1983 it is the capital of the markets.

 

Cámara Oficial Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Canary Islands)

Elections 2010 of the "Cámara de Comercio, Industria y Navegación" (Commerce, Industry and Navigation) of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

Camara de Comercio, Industria y Navegación is a public law corporation whose primary mission to defend the general interests of Commerce, Industry and Navigation. It acts as an advisory body to the Government in all matters economic, defending the general interests of the sectors that integrates.
The Camara is composed of all the commercial, industrial and service natural or legal persons lawfully exercising economic activities in Gran Canaria. Having the right to participate as voters and candidates in the governing bodies of the Corporation: Plenary Executive Committee Chair.

The Camara is run by the entrepreneurs themselves through democratically elected members every four years between the various sectors of the economy of our island (Trade and Service, Industry and Navigation).

Dara did the counting of votes of its electoral process. Different candidates competed in 26 different groups. The lists were open and each voter could choose a maximum number of candidates determined in each group. Three different venues in three cities with simultaneous counting and delivery of results at each venue and centrally.

DARA is responsible for the design of ballot papers, printing and customization with the candidates of the 26 group, sending both postal voting as the personal vote. The equipment for counting of votes were the model Lectodara 9000 headquarters in INFECAR and Lectodara 4500 for the other two locations, with our software all VOT Evaldara.

Methodology used.

The counting was done entirely with own equipment and solutions and developed by DARA.
The reading of the votes was anonymous. Operators utilizing the read of votes NOT know the results.
Simultaneously with the reading of the votes, for the giant screens placed expressly for this purpose interim results were displayed according to the reading of the votes in real time. Read Voting result shown on outdoor screens.
Voters saw sitting real time reading the results of the vote.
Once completed the physical reading of the votes and were preparing the interim results. Later draft minutes were printed, consolidated data from the other sites and delivered the final results.

The Pontevedra´s confederation of entrepreneurs give for counting of votes in the elections held in March 2007.

Dara did the design and printing of the ballot papers according to the requirements of the EPC, a team traveled to the place of voting and counting performed in front of the voters, obtaining results within minutes of the polls closing.

We use our electoral count software allows for real-time results as the votes are read organized, in this case, for each of the vice and vocalías of each of the sectors. The results were appearing on a giant screen visible around the auditorium.
